Lagmore House is a very large, detached 5-bedroom house that comfortably and spaciously accommodates up to 10 people. It is the very last house along Queen St in the small village of Portnahaven, with stunning views of the Atlantic ocean, and Orsay and Mackenzie islands to the front.
The beach is less than a 2 minute walk from the house and the tiny village pub is only a few doors away, serving tasty food most of the day.
The many seals of Portnahaven gather on the rocks just below the house and on the small island opposite, and can usually be seen basking in the evening sun.

13th April 2017
We are pleased to offer 10% off the listed price (deducted at checkout) for a week or fortnight's stay this September or October. Islay can often experience some lovely weather in the latter part of the high season, however if the weather is wild then the why not let the kids play in the games room while you relax in front of the log-burning stove and watch the waves crash onto the rocks of Mackenzie and Orsay islands. You can view prices and real-time availability here, or feel free to e-mail if you have any questions.
